Kirk.       Accomplished. Standing by.       Correlate. Check their past histories.       Report any item,       any past episode or experience       they all have in common.       Affirmative.              It's a bit vague whether the computer's "Affirmative" is it telling        Spock it has found a common item, episode or experience in common or        just acknowledging receipt of his instruction, but in the next scene        Spock is telling McCoy the history of Tarsus. that Kirk, Leighton and        Riley were the last surviving witnesses up until the start of the        episode, and that the Karidian players were nearby every time the        recently deceased other witnesses bought it. So either the computer did        indeed make that connection or it at least delivered the necessary        information for Spock to make it.              GeneK                                   --- Synchronet 3.15a-Linux NewsLink 1.92-mlp       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
