   Spock gets curious and asked the computer what things Leighton, Riley,   
   Kirk, and Karidian *had in common.* Karidian had nothing in common   
   with the other three as he didn't exist until *after* the events of   
   Tarsus IV-- yet the computer doesn't say this but spits out this nice   
   story that leads Spock to know that his captain is in grave danger   
   from Kodos the Executioner. Remember, Karidian is an alias, not a real   
   person with a real past like Kirk or Leighton.
