   Subject: Star Trek: The Next Generation to be remastered for Blu-Ray   
      
   CBS is going to remaster "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (TNG) for    
   Blu-Ray.   
      
   As with remastered TOS, the remastering of TNG will feature all-new    
   special effects.   
   Plus, from the stills it appears that they are also going to reformat    
   the photography for a 16:9 aspect ratio.   
      
   The first four episodes to be remastered (mostly as a test of the    
   process):  "Encounter At Farpoint 1 & 2", "The Inner Light", and "Sins    
   of the Father"
