   Well, this is one of those episodes where you should check out the   
   Alan Dean Foster novelization.  He manages to stretch them all out to

   Also interesting was that mention about the Bonaventure being the ship   
   equipped with warp drive.  I think that gets contradicted even before   
   TAS ends.  I think Sarah April makes the same claim about the   
   Enterprise in the final episode.

   Well, part of the problem is that Star Trek was a 60 minute show, so   
   when people try to write for TAS, they probably thought in those terms   
   first, and then tried to adapt it to TAS.
