   We've been having a number of UFO sightings lately here in Rose City,   
   so they probably should have done a version of "Tommorrow Is Yesterday   
   instead with a UFO filling in for the Enterprise. There's no mention   
   about it at Memory Alpha but I can't believe it's just pure   
   coincidence that the script for TIY is almost exactly a telling of the   
   Mantel incident where an Air Force pilot in 1948 chases a large   
   "object" that results in him being scattered all over the countryside.   
   Too strong a tractor beam perhaps?
