   It is still good to use two spaces after a period, and two line feeds    
   between paragraphs written in plain text, such as here, on Usenet.   
      
   These conventions should NOT be followed within a word processing    
   progam, however.  One of the first books about this was "The Mac is    
   not a Typewriter" by Robin Williams, a woman, not the comedian.
