   I've never understood people who will read, and then post, in a   
   newsgroup whose whole point is "what is good $X" for some $X (in this   
   case, science fiction television) with what amounts to "quality doesn't   
   matter 'cause it's ain't real life!"   
      
   I certainly disagree with Rich (I thoroughly enjoyed the new Star Trek   
   movie; the obvious fact that its "plot" made no logical sense whatever   
   is my only quibble -- and I thought the movie was enough fun that I do   
   regard that as a quibble), but M. M. is an idiot who is invoking the   
   magic phrase "just entertainment" with no understanding of what   
   "entertainment" means.
