   1)  Slash fic is not an actual "industry".  It qualifies as a hobby,    
   perhaps.   
      
   2)  Slash never depended on Spockie-come-lately Quinto in the past, and    
   still doesn't.   
      
   3)  There is no Sulu slash worth mentioning.  Unless you count Warp 11's    
   song "Suds me up, Sulu".
