*** quoting Jim Haight from a message to All ***               JH> Well I was putzing with Renegade and like the old version best....        JH> the newest seems too homogenized (IMHO). In any event, I got TG up        JH> and running and fell in love with it. It has lots of whistles and        JH> bells, just what I was looking for. But... for the life of me I        JH> cannot figure out what TG does with it's dropfiles. I usually        JH> install LORD just to get a game up and running since it's the same        JH> routine as TEOS and Darkness. But where do I tell LORDcfg to look        JH> for door.sys? I have tried everything. It is not like RG even        JH> though there are similarities. And... it is great this echo still        JH> exists              What Skuz said. It's in your BBS root directory, per node.              So mine is C:\TG\TEMP1 for Node 1, \TEMP2 for Node 2, etc.              My LORD menu uses DOOR.SYS with the DG command, and the command line       looks like this:              c:\doors\lord\start.bat ~CN              And thar ya go!              TBH, getting doors to work was the easiest part of it all for me. Getting a        working setup for a mail tosser and mailer was a bitch. Thankfully I had some        help. Thanks, guys! =)              I should really get this thing finished and online soon.              --- Telegard v3.09.g2-sp4/mL        * Origin: scratched reality :: reality.hopto.org:2323 (1:322/763)    |
