   About Position:   
   * Client is looking to grow their Portal Architecture Team.   
   * This team is responsible for the vision, design, development and support of   
   the their portal where a customer can subscribe to the company's tracking   
   service and view their device on a map for active tracking.   
   * The portal has mobile capability on iPhone and Android to ensure tracking can   
    be done from anywhere at any time.   
   * As part of their fast-paced and collaborative team, you will have direct   
   influence on site functionality and architectural structure.   
   * We are considering a PHP Web Development Architect and a PHP Web Developer.   
      
   Responsibilities:    
   * Assist in the development of multiple web sites and web-based applications   
   according to defined business and technology standards   
   * Monitor application performance and help scale site capacity to meet traffic   
   demands performance   
   * Develop documentation as necessary for key components of the web solution   
   * Assist with recommendations on web platform architecture and tool selection    
      
   Required Qualifications:   
   * 3+ years web development experience.   
   * 2+ years of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX.   
   * Experience with MySQL database and cloud hosting   
   * Experience creating and consuming web services   
   * Extensive understanding of and experience with MVC frameworks, specifically   
   Symfony 2.0+   
   * Solid understanding of system-specific concepts, including OOP, database   
   architecture and implementation of scalable solutions   
   * Exceptional customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills.   
   * Bachelors degree in IT or related discipline.   
      
   Desired Qualifications:   
   * 2+ years mobile device development experience with iPhone and Android   
   * Full software lifecycle (SDLC) experience preferred   
   * Exposure to agile development methods   
   * 1+ year of Ruby on Rails experience preferred but not required
