   Software Engineering Manager   
      
   This position is also responsible for management, planning,   
   scheduling, budgeting, specification writing and interdepartmental   
   coordination. Functional group management including day-to-day   
   supervision of software engineering personnel. Staff recruitment,   
   supervision, performance management and career development of direct   
   reports. Generating or assisting in writing/revising company SOP’s   
   relating to software development Life Cycle. Generating product   
   specifications, project plans, budgets and related material.   
   Responsible for defining software requirements from product   
   requirements. Responsible for the design, development, integration,   
   and testing of software solutions for the system and providing   
   supporting documentation for each of the activities. Responsible to   
   manage internal and external software resources to support assigned   
   projects. QNX, LINUX or other real time operating systems experience   
   is an asset. C/C++ experience is required, and Adobe Flash is a plus.   
   It is required that the candidate has good analytical, writing, and   
   interpersonal skills. Understanding of project planning and product   
   development processes is an asset.Familiar with Design Control process   
   and configuration control is preferred.
