Maybe it was a 'Christian' who said that. Some of them make up the most
outrageous falsehoods and get others to swallow it. Would you give up on
your religion if it could be shown that you are absolutely wrong in all
of the doctrines that you teach?

So what?

This means what? Human beings believe in all sorts of gods. The
doctrines of various religions are inconsistent with each other, yet
folks don't sit down and evaluate all of the religions before they
accept one.
