AA> Wow.. the Daryl/Darell comment triggered a slew of memories for
    AA> ya! :)

It set me off...in a good way.

AA> We all have our own ways to live and cope.

I'm making chocolate chip cookies, and have more M&M's to peel.

AA> SO, you left the church property in an ambulance?

No, I didn't make it there in the first place. I'll bet that would
have caused a stir. I have heard instances where someone (even the
   preacher) literally died while there.

It reminds me of the joke where the little boy asked the preacher
what the plaques and flags on the wall represented. The preacher
replied "It's in honor all those who died in the service". He meant
the military, but the little boy inquired "Was it for the morning
   or evening service??".

AA> I think you shared that story before. What I don't understand
AA> is if you left the church in an ambulance, surely the there
AA> would have been many people who noticed - you know, witnesses.

I likely did...but it's one of those things that still burns me
to this day...never mind burnt coffee. If you leave those pots on
the burner too long, and bump them, they can shatter.

AA> And.. during your egress, too bad you didn't delegate the
AA> coffee/donut/OJ task to someone else - publicly.

I don't remember if I did that publicly or not. I do recall I
told the director about it, and that "I resign".

AA> In any case, it usually just takes one person to complain that
AA> they don't have their precious donut.

Sad, but true. Yet, the squeakiest wheel gets the grease.

... The scales in the doctors offices offend me. Remove them!
