   The example "prompt at the bottom of the screen" that you quoted appears to be   
   from the msglist.js module. That particular prompt from that script is using   
   "mnemonics" which get their color values from the ctrl/attr.ini file (or   
   attr.cfg in older versions of Synchronet) file. So you want to change these   
   lines in that file:   
   mnehigh           = WH                                  ; Mnemonic Prompts High   
   mnelow            = G                                   ; Mnemonic Prompts Low   
   mnecmd            = WH                                  ; Mnemonic Commands
