   I saw this in Windows when running SyncTerm in Win32 console mode (with the
   -iW command line option). When selecting text to copy to the clipboard,
   SyncTerm leaves off the last character highlighted. As such, when I paste from
   the clipboard, the last character in my selection from SyncTerm is not there.

   It seems RIP must be turned off for the BBS entry, or it's not able to select
   text at all (I imagine this may be intentional?).

   My current setup:

   * SyncTerm 1.8b (Nov. 22, 2025); I also saw the issue in version 1.7
   * OS: Windows 11 25H2 (OS build 26200.7171)
