My guess: you have the user        DM> account for this recipient configured to forward to an external Internet        DM> email address.              Finally found what I was looking for! In the new user prompts I like to have       email addresses so that I can contact outside of the BBS if there is an       issue. I also do not have a working email forwarding system configuration as       my ISP / domain doesn't seem to like it. (I started to try to use your BBS       per the wiki but it didn't seem to work - would need more troubleshooting on       that at some point).              I removed the forward email checkbox in user editor for me, resent a help       request for areafix@46:1/100, and i indeed got a reply that was sitting in my       inbox (expected behavior).              I was trying to see if i could require a unique email but also force the "no       email forwarding" but it didn't seem possible in sbbscfg. I was trying to       modify the newuser_signup.js, but per (presumably your) comment note at the       beginning of the file - that that script isn't called. I didn't see any       changes to the new user login process when i modified that .js file.               Is there any other way to achive unique emails and auto-disable the checkbox       for email forwarding?              I was also looking for a way for the user to enter just their zip code (not       address) so that a weather door could use the zip for the forecast but not be       too creepy requiring a mailing address. I tried to modify this in       newuser_singup.js but was not successful.                     Thanks!       Convolution BBS - Convolution.us              ...Uh, I'm just gonna go find a cash machine.              ---        þ Synchronet þ Convolution BBS - convolution.us        * Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (1:103/705)       SEEN-BY: 10/0 1 102/401 103/1 13 17 705 105/81 106/201 124/5016 128/187       SEEN-BY: 129/14 153/7715 154/110 214/22 218/0 1 215 601 700 720 840       SEEN-BY: 218/860 880 226/30 227/114 229/110 114 206 317 400 426 428       SEEN-BY: 229/470 550 700 705 266/512 280/464 291/111 301/1 320/219       SEEN-BY: 322/757 342/200 396/45 460/58 633/280 712/848 902/26 5075/35       PATH: 103/705 218/700 229/426           |
