This message appears to have been imported from FTN (with SBBSecho) and
*forwarded* to an Internet email address. My guess: you have the user account
for this recipient configured to forward to an external Internet email address.

You'd see an indication of this in your data/sbbsecho.log file with a log
message something along the lines of:

Forwarding message from Areafix@46:1/100 to basis@convolutionbbs.org

Once successfully forwarded, the message is flagged for deletion. Since this
message is *not* flagged for deletion, my guess is that your Synchronet Mail
server SendMail thread has *not* successfully delivered this message.

   Yes.

SBBSecho imports incoming netmail (for local users) into the data/mail base.
In this case, the user in question had their account configured to forward
their mail to an external Internet mail address. So the message is pending
delivery to the external mail server for that address - check the mail server
log for those delivery attempt details.
