   This would be an FTP issue, not really specifically a "QWK" issue. It appears   
   they're using the old "active" (not passive) FTP transfer mode and having   
   issues (likely on their end). The Synchronet qnet-ftp script (e.g.   
   qnet-ftp.js) uses *passive* FTP by default, so ask them if they changed that   
   setting or what's going on on their end. They can test FTP functionality by   
   simply logging in with any FTP client and toggling between passive/active   
   modes and do directory listings.
