   Similar here.  I started my original BBS in 1994; after trying several BBS   
   software packages, I decided on RemoteAccess.  I ran that BBS until 2000, when   
   it seemed like BBSing was dead.  In 2007, I was curious and searching for BBS   
   stuff and found out about Jason Scott's "BBS: The Documentary"; I ordered a   
   copy on DVD and watched that and felt really nostalgic.  I found that BBSes   
   were still running on the internet, and I decided to start running one again.    
   Initially I started with EleBBS, since that's similar to RemoteAccess, but I   
   eventually found Synchronet and decided on that.
