   I think the node_action helps mainly with logging, as it would point out what   
   the user is doing (I don't remember offhand if there are other ways it   
   helps).  In my command shell, I set node_action to NODE_RMSG (reading   
   messages) in my message menu, but you could keep it as NODE_MAIN if you wanted   
   to, I suppose.
