   We moved the users' new-msg-scan configs/ptrs from the old .ixb files to .subs   
   (.ini) files 6 years ago.   
      
   The only place sub-board pointer indexes are still used any more is   
   `data/qnet/*.ptr` files. These should be replaced with files in .ini format.
