   The modem I have is also a 5686G, so that's probably most accurate for   
   testing. That's really weird that it worked once and then stopped. I have been   
   using it with dip switch 1 down the whole time, and tools like minicom work   
   but sexpots doesn't for me.    
      
   Also, I didn't happen to notice the device name, but it did work for me on   
   Windows 11, I'd say give it a shot. That is pretty funny though!
