   I've never used BBSLink and it's been a long time since I looked at it, but I   
   vaguely recall them having a web service in the loop, possibly as part of the   
   login process, maybe to specify a door to launch upon connecting. (As opposed   
   to the typical rlogin game server which just abuses the terminal-type for this   
   purpose.) That may be wildly off-base though.

   Their website loads for me, on ports 80 and 443, but that's not to say it's   
   the same server that handles whatever bbslink.js is calling. Are you able to   
   view their site in a browser? If not, maybe your address got blocked for some   
   reason.   
      
   Beyond that, can't say more without seeing bbslink.js.
