   That's what I tried doing in https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbb   
   /-/commit/aa419b47f090be8fccd23ba811304b48182b3064?view=inline but I just   
   realized I'm a dumbass and I hardcoded the word 'undefined' in the error   
   message instead of referencing the variables themselves.  I also used `throw`   
   instead of `log()` so maybe that makes a difference too.   
      
   Sysop confirmed the latest commit did the trick on real hardware too, so I'll   
   clean up my branch and open a merge request.
