   Implement my own fgets-like function that ignores CRs and tracks display width   
      
   And now it doesn't matter if the file uses \n\r or \r\r\n line endings (but   
   the \n is stil needed).   
      
   We don't need to truncate (with P_TRUNCATE) to printfile(..., P_SEEK) files   
   that have Ctrl-A codes, this make it more friendly for narrower terminals.
