   I assume you're talking about the ftelnet (http://ftelnet.ca/) web app   
   embedded in the home page of ecWebv4 ... like you see at http://   
   eb.synchro.net ?   
      
   The ftelnet web app uses websockets to connect to proxy service running in   
   Synchronet (by default):   
   https://wiki.synchro.net/faq:tcpip#ports   
      
   And yeah, not http connect from here:
