   Why? You'd rather have 1000 line text.dat file that you have to re-synchronize   
   with each new version of Synchronet? *that* is convoluted.

   text.dat contains text strings. attr.ini contains encodings for an 8-bit CGA   
   attribute value. They're not the same thing.
