I'm running my BBS in Linux and I also use dosemu2. I've found very few DOS
door games that don't work well in dosemu2; it was just a few trivia games
that were taking up a lot of CPU time for some reason and appeared slow or
almost frozen. I ended up replacing those with something different.
   Otherwise I haven't had much trouble with dosemu2. I didn't know dosbox-x
could be used for this purpose (I didn't know dosbox-x could communicate with
Synchronet to send output to the user).
