   When I was running my BBS on Windows, I don't remember having to copy any   
   additional DLLs into my sbbs\exec directory in order to get Synchronet to run.   
      
   As far as Visual Studio redistributables, I'm pretty sure the installer for   
   those normally sets things up so that its DLLs are in the system path, so any   
   program requiring them will be able to load them.
