   I run the ircd stand alone (with jsexec) because I don't want it to keep my   
   Synchronet services server from being able to be recycled or restarted when I   
   want. Also, if there are any performance or result utilization issues with it,   
   it's easier to debug/trouble-shoot as a stand alone program.   
      
   And btw, if you you're running a Linux systemd init system, there's a service   
   unit file included in the Synchronet Git repo in the install/systemd directory   
   just for this very use (running the ircd with jsexec).
