   I'm not sure what exemptions you're referring to. "Exemptions" sounds like a   
   white-list and not sure what file/list you mean that matches that description.   
      
   For the ip.can filter file, only IP addresses/ranges can be specified. For the   
   host.can filter file, only hostnames are expected.
