He just told you why, right up there above where you        Ga> quoted it! Do you even read the replies you get??? WTF?               Ri> WOW, your first instinct is to attack the person asking a question,        Ri> because YOU think it's a dumb one, instead of "HELPING", or just not        Ri> saying something. I got his answer the first time and made the change,        Ri> it worked, I was a bit confussed by the way it was explaned on the        Ri> wiki, so I ask a question about that. Sorry I don't know everything        Ri> aboutthe Synchronet setup.              It wasn't my "first instinct"... or I would have replied to you about 14        messages ago...              But I mean, really - *LOOK* right up there above where he told you *WHY*        it had to be changed, and what port to change it to. Then, you        highlight the default port and asking him *WHY* is he telling you to        change it to 587... Come on man, don't you see how ridiculous that is?              Believe me, I don't know everything about SBBS setup either, but....        when I ask a question, and I get answer as to how to fix it, including        *WHY* that will fix it.... I do the change and thank them for the info -        NOT ask them why they're telling me to change something.                            ... If what you don't know can't hurt you, she's practically invulnerable.       --- MultiMail/Linux v0.52        þ Synchronet þ Palantir BBS * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL        * Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (1:103/705)       SEEN-BY: 103/705 105/81 106/201 124/5016 128/187 153/757 7715 154/10       SEEN-BY: 154/30 110 203/0 218/700 221/0 226/30 227/114 229/110 114       SEEN-BY: 229/206 317 400 426 428 470 550 700 705 240/1120 5832 266/512       SEEN-BY: 280/464 5003 5006 291/111 292/8125 301/1 310/31 320/219 322/757       SEEN-BY: 341/66 234 342/200 396/45 423/120 460/58 256 1124 467/888       SEEN-BY: 633/280 712/848 770/1 902/26 5020/400 5054/30 5075/35       PATH: 103/705 280/464 460/58 229/426           |
