   regarding ident queries..   
      
   imo queries make sense to me if you're shelling out from one bbs to another,   
   and could be used just like how irc uses it (block a specific user from a   
   bbs that behaves crazily, without banning the whole bbs)   
      
   perhaps go the other direction (if it's not already there) and allow blocking   
   ip/ident pairs..   
      
   not sure why the ircd doesn't use it either.. it's specifically for   
   identifying individuals on multiuser systems   
      
   *shrug* as usually "easy for me to say" :) .. just seems like supporting it   
   fits the general concept of sync (which supports finger..)
