   Can you use a regular ftp client in PASV mode to connect to dove.synchro.net   
   and successfully get a directory listing? If not, you need to solve that   
   first. qnet-ftp.js (the script used by default for outbound QWK/REP packet   
   transfers) uses "passive" (PASV) FTP by default, so doesn't require any   
   forwarded-ports or special NAT handling (we're talking about an *outbound*   
   connection from your system to mine).
