Am>> Ran into an error with SlyEdit and Vim when I filled my main partition.

Am>> I've lost the exact error message. But may want to check space where the
Am>> temporary file is written, and capture even and display relevant message
    Am>> and exit.

Ni> I see you addressed this message to "nightfall".. Did you mean to address
Ni> this to me (since you mentioned SlyEdit)? If so, you also mentioned Vim,
Ni> which is not something I maintain..
Yes. I guess my attention to detail has failed me again. Yes. Nightfox not
   Nightfall
   :-(

I was just saying the vim editor also had same issue, but error was more
   obvious
"Couldn't write swap file". So I knew it was disk space or permission issue.

The error in SlyEdit was like a TypeError . Nothing that I could related to
   failure
   to writing the temp file.

Ni> It sounds like the general issue is there wasn't enough space to save the
Ni> message, particularly since you say you got an error both with SlyEdit and
Ni> with Vim. And to save a message, SlyEdit ultimately calls one of
Ni> Synchronet's JavaScript functions to save the message.
Ok. I just thought maybe it could be caught and reported with a human error
message, rather than a javascript type error.

...I say we nuke the site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure
