   Hi folks -

lately I've been perusing synchronet boards and noticed some having a
'forum' door. Upon entering, I was impressed by the way they appear like
   web style forums.

Are these posts a simple redressing of the standard local echo? Is it
possible to point the forum doors to FTN echonets?

I am approaching these questions as someone who's never operated a bbs
   before, so be kind.

I'm currently creating ansi screens as part of an effort to launch my
own board - and I have a strong interest in having a 'forum' for one of
   the themes in mind.

   Thank you,

   Daniel
