   So I think you're referring to the 'lang' user property (not something I think   
   of as a "terminal type setting"). But anyway, after making a change to the   
   current user's 'lang' property, call bbs.load_user_text() to re-load the   
   ctrl/text..ini file.

   I still can't can't think of a reason why "ansi" and "ascii" would require   
   different language files.
