   Charles,

CS>Me and you should donate our bodies to Medical Science after we pass! I thin
CS>if they could prolly find a cure for EVERYthing! hehe!

It'd be cheaper than a funeral!! My late father, and my Mom had
pre-arranged theirs...and what I got from my late father's passing paid
for my wife's funeral. It was bare bones, cremation, but still cost
around $7500 in 2007. Shortly after she died, I felt I should set up
pre-arrangement on mine, and after 10 years of paying around $109 a
month, my funeral is paid for. Unfortunately, my brother, who has lived
for the present, and for himself, did not pre-arrange...so, I'll have to
pick up the cost of his funeral, unless I can get a cremation only, with
no viewing, service, etc. -- or get the body donated to science. In some
areas, that process can be rather difficult, from what I've head.

CS>I'm about to get ready and dressed to go to my pain management doctor this
CS>morning. Every since the 'Opioid Epidemic' Doctors are kinda afraid to
CS>prescribe certain opioids that will work to patients. I'm one of them. I'v
CS>been on a opioid of some type since I as 14, I have had times where I abused
CS>them, at a younger age, I was also suffering depression too. I have learned
CS>(and STILL learning) to accept my aliments and love me for me. It's been a
CS>uphill battle for the last 3 years... finally! :)

The main pain meds I have are:

   1) Tylenol Gel Caps (OTC). I take these a week before a procedure where
   bleeding might be an issue.

   2) Ibuprofen. 400 mg prescription strength tablet. No more than 2 a day,
even though it's not addictive like other meds.

   3) They have given me some stronger stuff for kidney stone pain, but I
avoid that unless I absolutely have to have it...because I can be asleep
in less than 10 minutes (and am very groggy after I wake up), plus, it's
   so addictive.

I drink 1 to 2 liters of flavored water a day to keep the kidneys
   flushed out.

If, on a scale of 1 to 10, the pain level is 1, or no more than 2,
I'll live with it, and just tough it out.

   Daryl
