Hi, Daryl! Recently you wrote in a message to All:              DS> I think they're going to put me on a "south beach diet"       DS> ...never heard of that, but I doubt it means going to       DS> Coconut Grove, Florida to eat. :P                      Uh-huh. 'Way back when, various people appeared briefly in this       echo enquiring about which clinic in Mexico others would suggest they &/or a       relative fly to (at a cost of +/- $50,000 in US funds today) for cancer       treatments. They didn't like *my* reply. What it boils down to is that if a       person is seeking an excuse to take a nice long holiday in some sunnier,       warmer clime & can afford to pay for it I'm happy for them. But there's       probably a lot one can do at home in (e.g.) Little Rock, Arkansas which will       be as effective in the long run.... ;-)                            DS> As for the liver enzymes, I've had that problem over the       DS> years, as well as with cholesterol and triglycerides...       DS> my Mom has the same problems.                      Nature or nurture? That's an endless topic for debate among folks       in the EdBiz... and I see how it could be debatable WRT certain medical issues       too.               In any case, have your doctors said anything further about diet?        :-)                                   --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+        * Origin: Wits' End, Vancouver CANADA (1:153/716)    |
