   makes it so much easier...whether for ambulatory, ER, or other medical   
   personnel, to know what is going on.   
      
     They did discover that both ears were clogged with wax, but not to   
   where I couldn't hear. However, they used a novel way to remove it...and   
   not that I was holding the wax to make candles with .   
      
     First, they put 4 drops of hydrogen peroxide in each ear, to soften   
   the wax, and you could hear it sizzling, like bacon frying. But, instead   
   of using a pressure syringe, which is very painful, they used, of all   
   things, a Water-Pik...yes, the same device for dental hygiene!! Rather   
   warm water, with the vibration of the Water-Pik was only mildly   
   uncomfortable, but no real pain, and it did the job. Afterwards, the   
   PCP quipped "You do have ear drums!!" .
