   Weird menu behaviour

   Hi,

So my goal is to set up Renegade on OS/2 using Irex and Squish and make the
bbs telnettable. Things are going well albeit slow (my experience is with
   Synchronet and Linux).

I've got Irex, Squish and Renemail all working (no batch file to control them
yet). So I gleefully run renegade -l (haven't got SIO installed yet) and log
on. I choose M from the main menu for Messages and Y to Scan for new
   messages. Then it gets weird.

First I'm taken to the Who's online screen. I press "any" key and am taken to
the first echomail message (great!). I hit Yes No or Continue (doesn't matter
which) and am taken to the MultiNode Menu. From this menu the Q does not
respond. The other choices do. If I type G it asks me if I want to leave but
   doesn't when I type Y. If I type /G I log out.

This happens every time and also if I don't to a Scan for new messages but
simply go to the message menu and choose read, then a message then continue
   etc.

At this point I haven't edited any menus. I even ran the Renegade install
program to another directory and copied over a new copy of menus.dat. Same
behaviour. So now I am at a loss. Has anyone seen this before or have any
   suggestions?

   Thanks,
   Doug
