      CHRS: CP437 2       MSGID: 1:18/200@fidonet 668d8b54       PID: MBSE-BBS 1.1.0 (Linux-x86_64)       TZUTC: -0500       TID: MBSE-FIDO 1.1.0 (Linux-x86_64)       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Slow-Cooker Spaghetti & Meatballs        Categories: Beef, Cheese, Herbs, Vegetables, Chilies        Yield: 12 servings                1 c Seasoned bread crumbs        2 tb Grated Parmesan and Romano        - cheese blend        1 ts Pepper        1/2 ts Salt        2 lg Eggs; lightly beaten        2 lb Ground beef              MMMMM---------------------------SAUCE--------------------------------        1 lg Onion; fine chopped        1 md Bell pepper; fine chopped        45 oz (3 cans) tomato sauce        29 oz (2 cans) diced tomatoes;        - undrained        6 oz Can tomato paste        6 cl Garlic; minced        2 Bay leaves        1 ts (ea) dried basil, oregano &        - parsley flakes        1 ts Salt        1/2 ts Pepper        1/4 ts Crushed red pepper flakes        Hot cooked spaghetti                In a large bowl, mix bread crumbs, cheese, pepper and        salt; stir in eggs. Add beef; mix lightly but        thoroughly. Shape into 1-1/2-in. balls. In a large        skillet, brown meatballs in batches over medium heat;        drain.                Place the first 5 sauce ingredients in a 6-qt. slow        cooker; stir in garlic and seasonings. Add meatballs,        stirring gently to coat. Cook, covered, on low 5-6 hours        or until meatballs are cooked through.                Remove bay leaves.
