      TZUTC: -0400       MSGID: 36087.fido-recipes@1:3634/12 2b54682c       PID: Synchronet 3.18a-Linux May 23 2020 GCC 7.5.0       TID: SBBSecho 3.11-Linux r3.173 May 23 2020 GCC 7.5.0       CHRS: ASCII 1       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Almond-Crusted Chops w/Cider Sauce        Categories: Pork, Nuts, Fruits, Cheese, Breads        Yield: 4 servings                1/2 c Panko bread crumbs        1/2 c Ground almonds        1/3 c A-P flour        1/2 ts Salt; divided        2 lg Eggs; beaten        4 Boneless 4 oz ea pork loin        - chops; 3/4" thick        3 tb Olive oil        1 c Apple cider or juice        4 oz Cream cheese; diced        1 tb Honey; opt        Minced chives                In a shallow bowl, mix bread crumbs and almonds. In        another shallow bowl, mix flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt.        Place eggs in a separate shallow bowl. Dip pork chops in        flour to coat both sides; shake off excess. Dip in egg,        then in crumb mixture, patting to help coating adhere.                In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add pork        chops; cook 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove; keep warm.        Wipe skillet clean.                In same skillet over medium heat, combine apple cider,        cream cheese, remaining salt and, if desired, honey.        Cook and stir 2 minutes.
