         Title: Cherry Plum Slab Pie w/Walnut Streusel

         1 lb Fresh sweet cherries;   
              - pitted   
         4 md Red plums; thin sliced   
       1/2 c  Sugar   
       1/4 c  Cornstarch   
         2 tb Lemon juice   
              Dough for double-crust pie   
      
   MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING-------------------------------   
       1/2 c  Old-fashioned oats   
       1/2 c  Chopped walnuts   
       1/3 c  A-P flour   
       1/4 c  Sugar   
       1/4 c  (packed) brown sugar   
         1 ts Ground cinnamon   
       1/4 ts Salt   
       1/2 c  Cold unsalted butter   
       
     Set oven @ 375oF/190oC.   
        
     In a large bowl, combine cherries, plums, sugar,   
     cornstarch and lemon juice; toss to coat.   
        
     On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 16" x   
     12" rectangle; transfer to an ungreased 13" X 9"   
     baking dish. Trim even with rim of dish. Add filling.   
     For topping, in a small bowl, mix oats, walnuts, flour,   
     sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt; cut in butter   
     until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling.   
        
     Bake until filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown,   
     50-55 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
