         2 tb Butter   
         4 c  Shredded cabbage   
         1    Bell pepper; in thin strips   
         2 tb Water   
       1/2 ts Salt   
       1/4 ts Pepper   
         3 oz Cream cheese; in cubes,   
              - softened   
       
     Melt butter in a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet.   
     Add cabbage and green pepper; toss to coat. Stir in   
     water, salt and pepper. Cover; simmer until cabbage is   
     tender, 8-10 minutes. Add cream cheese; stir until   
     melted.
