         Title: Broccoli Cheddar Soup

       1/4 c  Chopped onion   
       1/4 c  Butter; diced   
       1/4 c  A-P flour   
       1/4 ts (ea) salt & pepper   
     1 1/2 c  Milk   
       3/4 c  Chicken broth   
         1 c  Cooked chopped broccoli   
       1/2 c  Shredded cheddar cheese   
       
     In a small saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.   
     Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended;   
     gradually add milk and broth. Bring to a boil; cook and   
     stir until thickened, about 2 minutes.   
        
     Add broccoli. Cook and stir until heated through. Remove   
     from the heat; stir in cheese until melted.
