   Shielding electric guitars. I got mine from amazon. Here in the UK we   
   don't have 'shelves' except in online suppliers warehouse, and food

   insulation so a builders merchant will stock it

   You *can* solder to aluminium,. You just need the right flux, And   
   breathing apparatus!
