Zmodem is working good now.. Got my first file leach online right now DLing
ever scifi/fantasy GIF there is LOL I had a CD-ROM full of them from the
old board and just dumped it to the harddrive since there's so much space.

    > yeah, it isn't too bad... i still run telix, though... using
    > a virtual modem... i haven't found anything yet that beats it
Yes, Telix is great. I've though bout getting a Magic Jack and hooking up
my real modem again. I've head MJ can run modems ok.. I won't my that
virtual modem either, but that costs money I belive, something I'm greatly
lacking lately. Many if I go good at the ham flea market next month...

    > KT> THe BBS PC also runs my webserver.
    > same here... ftp and everything... it is how i allow access
I'm playing with the idea of a mail server too. I just moved my main domain
from go-dorky to namecheap because they have dynapic dns support. So I
figure I could be fun to put in a mail server too. I have hmailserver
sitting here, have installed it yet.

    > i used to have sealink but i lost it with a lot of other
    > stuff in a crash back in the 90s... i currently have hslink,
That sucks.. When I brough my BBS back, I restored it as it was 20 years
ago first, from old 5.25" floppies :) I knew buying the good ones would pay
   off:)
