|    RA_MULTI Echo Rules    |
|    01 Feb 14 00:00:22    |
Conference rules for the RA_MULTI echo: rev. 08 Jan 07        Posting Frequency: 1st and 15th of the month.        -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-               1. The RemoteAccess Multi-Node Sysops Echo (RA_MULTI) is a FidoNet echo        conference dedicated to sharing technical know-how related to        running a multi-node RemoteAccess Bulletin Board System. This        conference covers a wide range of topics as they are related to        running a multi-node RA system. Topics include but are not limited        to networking, multitasking, multi-node doors and mailers, and other        topics as long as they relate directly to the operation of a        multi-node RA system.               2. Given the nature of this echo, I am fairly flexible on the context,        but should I inform anyone that it is getting Off-Topic, I assume        you will take it serious, drop it, and not force me to take further        action.               3. * NEW SYSOP HELP *        When posting a reply to a new RA Sysop regarding Setup or other        methods, post only author-documented methods. If you use        un-doccumented methods in your operation of RA, you may state so in        your message, and advise the recipient that they may request more        information from you. But do not post such as a definitive answer to        the sysops request for setup help.               4. * AVAILABILITY *        This echo is for SysOps, and should not generally be available to        BBS callers. Please use common sense about this.               5. This echo is not to be gated out of FidoNet without the Moderator's        permission.               6. * BASIC RULES *        The conference rules are simple. As this is a speciality technical        echo, participants are expected to be courteous and respectful of        each other. The discussions should remain on-topic at all times.               7. Gripes, Flames etc. must be handled via netmail, not in the echo. If        you wish to file a complaint about someone using the RA_MULTI echo,        do it via netmail. Complaints posted in the echo will be ignored,        and considered Off-Topic!!               8. BBS ads, research questions, flames, product wars, and the like are        unwelcome here. If you feel that a particular product is better in        certain applications, please cite actual technical reasons, and        avoid opinions.               9. * BOTTOM LINE *        Enjoy, and learn from each other.        Please let the moderator take care of problems.               Mark Lewis, 1:3634/12               Conference Moderator                      * Origin: (1:3634/12)    |
