In my       experience, that means you don't have a bad history and you have a       plausible reason for wanting the card. I told them I had friends in       Toronto, and I drive up to YYZ to fly internationally.              See http://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/nexus/nexus-eligibility              They'll revoke a NEXUS card if they think you're trying to sneak       through without properly declaring your stuff. I gather this is a       chronic sore point in Point Roberts WA, where approximately everyone       has one.              Fun fact: NEXUS costs $50, while Global Entry, the program for US       airports, costs $100. But if you have NEXUS, you can add on Global       Entry for free.              --       Regards,       John Levine, johnl@iecc.com, Primary Perpetrator of "The Internet for Dummies",       Please consider the environment before reading this e-mail. http://jl.ly              --- SoupGate/W32 v1.03        * Origin: LiveWire BBS -=*=- UseNet FTN Gateway (1:2320/1)    |
